Mr. Ed’s Bakery Hawaii – fruit spreads and preserves…bring home a taste of the island!

If you’ve been to the Big Island, you’ve probably heard of Mr. Ed’s Bakery, located in the heart of the Hamakua Coast, in the former sugar plantation town of Honomu. Owner Dean “Mr. Ed” Edmoundson and his wife June open shop each morning and unleash the scent of homemade breads, pastries and cookies. But the star attraction has become the hundreds of varieties of mouth watering jams, jellies, sauces, butters, chutneys, mustards and marmalades – made from scratch from Island fruits, peppers, and spices. Lining the shelves are favorites including guava, lilikoi, mango and pineapple, and even jaboticaba, gumichama, jackfruit and more. Low sugar and sugar-free versions are also available!
